I’m Jeroen from Salesflare and this is Founder Coffee.
Every two weeks, I have coffee with a different founder. We discuss our lives, our passions, what we’ve learned, … in an intimate interview, to get to know the person behind the company.
For this twenty-sixth episode, I spoke with Laura Roeder, co-founder of MeetEdgar, a social media tool that allows your content to automatically stay in touch with your customers.
She created a spreadsheet to cyprus phone number data organize existing content sharing and wondered why it was a spreadsheet and not a real tool. That’s how MeetEdgar was born.
Recently, Laura appointed a president for MeetEdgar and handed over the day-to-day operations. We discuss why she did this, the challenges of using social media, how she keeps the pressure on her team, and how “it’s not people that fail, it’s systems.”
Welcome to Founder Coffee.

Jeroen: Hello Laura, it’s a pleasure to welcome you to Founder Coffee.
Laura: Thank you for inviting me.
Jeroen: You are the founder of MeetEdgar. For those who don’t know MeetEdgar yet, what do you do?
Laura: We’re a social media email leads database automation tool . Jeroen: What should I imagine with “automatically”?
Laura: Yeah, send that message over and over or variations of that message. Twitter doesn’t let you send the same message. One of the big problems that we solve is that a lot of people spend a lot of time creating content. They send it out the first week they create it and never promote it again, which is really not a good practice, right? You want to make sure that people see the whole library of content that you’ve created.
