On the morning of the third day! I went to Ops-Stars again! where there was a morning panel discussion of women working in CMO positions! followed by a panel of founders of successful Account-based marketing SaaS companies. Among the panelists was networking and I ran into a Slovak who moved to the US already 12 years ago and is currently the VP of Demand generations. He was very willing to help with my allocation to SF! but most of the people I’ve met so far who live in SF are very willing to help with settling in and subsequent integration.
I went to lunch at the invitation of the Salesforce department at PUBLICIS.SAPIENT to their office in San Francisco for a lecture summarizing the research in retail changes that they recently prepared together with Salesforce.

The afternoon was already full of meetings with potential B2B partners – mainly business & marketing consulting firms.
I ended the day networking (otherwise! networking here chinese overseas canada database is often called Happy hour – because there is always free alcohol). Networking took place on the Eco-Systems rooftop coworking with a beautiful view of the Salesforce tower.
Unfortunately! I didn’t have that kind of perspective! but the day was also full of encounters. Most of the sessions I had planned throughout the day were mainly related to development! the Lightning platform! and newly prepared features in general. Some sessions are designed as a classic lecture! but some are in the form of discussions! with people from all corners of the world and all possible roles or expertise within the Salesforce platform.
What’s great about these discussions is that you have the opportunity
To check or compare how we do it at home and how it looks everywhere in the world. Yes! it’s always possible to do anything better! sometimes you’re forced to make a decision due to the circumstances of the project or a customer’s request! but sometimes it’s just a matter of ignorance of the possibilities of the Salesforce platform. Either way! I came to the pleasant realization that we’re actually doing it well ! Whether in how we communicate with customers about their requirements and try to show them the advantages of the Salesforce platform or how we design! develop and deploy the final solution.
In between running from one building to another! to keytrends: a leading e-commerce platform individual sessions! one has the opportunity to think a little about life here in the US. Yes! life here has many benefits that we are not used to! but I realized one thing. We have a beautiful country and I am proud to be from the Czech Republic and I would still have this opinion after a year spent in the US.
Finally! I have to mention that not everyone in SF shared any enthusiasm for Dreamforce and Salesforce specifically. There was one major protest event in the form of a parade. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and their perspective is certainly worth mentioning. If nothing else! what must be left is that they won handsomely
